Visa for entry to Japan

Please read the following information before applying for visa support. Japan implements visa exemption measures for some countries and regions for short-term stays. Please check the following website for visa exemption countries.

Please note that even exempt countries may require visa acquisition procedures depending on the type of passport, such as the Note on Exemption of Visa (Short-Term Stay) information page. For more information, please contact the nearest Japanese Embassy or Consulate-General.
Conditions
Applicants must meet all of the following conditions to request our visa documents support:
- Your paper has been accepted
- You have completed the online registration.
- Your registration fee and visa document support fee have been paid.
Visa support fee: 15,000 JPY/per person/ non-refundable for any reason (Not including Visa Application Fee)

The following documents will be issued to the applicants who have met all of the above conditions:
- Invitation letter
- Letter of guarantee
- Letter of reason for invitation
- Schedule of stay
- Certificates of employment
Visa guarantee period
The maximum guarantee period for MMM2025 is outlined below:
From January 6 (Mon), 2025 to January 12 (Sun), 2025.
- Since obtaining a visa may take time, we recommend that you contact the Japanese Embassy/Consulate‐General with jurisdiction over your place of residence as soon as possible to inquire about the detailed procedure and required documents. (In addition to the documents prepared by the inviting person/guarantor in Japan, you may be required to present additional documents. However, as requirements may vary depending on local circumstances and the purpose of your visit, please consult the Embassy/Consulate – General directly.)
- Please note that preparing the documents may take a week or more, and additional time may be required for delivery.
- Please note that preparing visa documents does not guarantee entry into Japan. The visa application process at the Embassy or Consulate‐General of Japan in your country is your responsibility, and MMM2025 holds no liability for this or for any travel expenses, including flight tickets, hotel booking, etc., that may arise from an inability to obtain a visa.
- Kindly confirm the details of your transit visa in advance if you transit through any countries en route to Japan, on your own responsibility. We are not liable for any issues related to transit visas.
Application Preparation
To prepare the visa application documents, we require the following information. Please have these details ready when you contact the visa support desk.
- Copy of your passport (in PDF or image files)
- Occupation
- Embassy or Consulate-General where you will apply your visa.
- Flight information (Date/Flight number):
- Arrival in Japan
- Departure from Japan
- The place of stay
- Name of hotel/accommodation
- Check-in/Check-out date
