Presentation Instructions

Oral Presentation

  • Place: All oral sessions will be held in the Noh-Gaku-Do (能楽堂; Noh-theater), located on the 1st floor of the venue.
    • Presenters will be requested to take their shoes off and wear slippers at the foot of the stage.

  • Time slot: The presentation time for each oral paper should be 12 minutes long plus 3 minutes for Q&A.
  • Preparation: Please bring your own computer for presentation.
  • Equipment: The room will be equipped with a digital projector (WXGA, 1280x800, 16:10 ratio) with an HDMI connector.
  • Note: Please make sure to come to the Noh-Gaku-Do 15 minutes before your session starts and ask the conference staff to check the connection to the projector.

Poster Presentation

  • Place: All poster sessions will be held in Reception Hall 1, located on the 2nd floor of the venue.
  • Size: A poster board of 180Hx120W (cm) will be provided for each poster paper, expected poster size is A0 portrait.
  • Printing: Please print and bring your poster with you. There will not be on-site printing, nor are there stores in Nara that offer poster printing.
  • Presentation: At least one author is expected to stay with their posters to answer questions through the entire duration of the designated poster session.
  • Preparation: Please set up your poster after 1:00 PM and before your poster session starts.
    • Pins will be provided along with the poster board. Do not use any other material (i.e. adhesive tapes).
    • Posters scheduled for the first day (Jan. 8th) can be posted until the end of the welcome reception, while those scheduled for other days must be taken down as soon as the poster session ends.
  • Note: Any posters left after the removal period will be disposed by the Conference Secretariat.

Demonstrations

  • Place: All demo sessions will be held in Reception Hall 1, located on the 2nd floor of the venue.
  • Equipment: a 27-inch wide-screen LCD monitor with a 1m HDMI cable (HDMI 1.4), a wide table, two chairs, a poster board of 180Hx120W (cm). Please print and bring your poster with you.
  • Presentation: At least one author is expected to stay during the demo sessions. Preparation time: January 9 morning
  • Note:
    • Please bring your own adapters to plug type A (Japan).
    • The electric power capacity is allocated to each demonstration according to the initial submission’s metadata.
    • Pins will be provided along with the poster board. Do not use any other material (i.e. adhesive tapes).
